A projector from LG is the BX286, whose 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP model delivers 2800 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 2100:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2500 hours. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 125 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 461 cm can be illuminated with 2800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 307 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by LG.
