The projector Super Close Projection System SCP715 by 3M utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 2200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1600:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. According to 3M, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 408 cm can be illuminated with 2200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 272 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by 3M.
