As a projector, the 3M Piccolo S15i combines LCD technology with a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600, and is additionally specified with 1500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 300:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 337 cm can be illuminated with 1500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 225 cm. This model dates back to 2006 and is no longer part of 3M's current product range.
