Known as the MP 8740, this LED-LCD projector by 3M features basic specs of 1100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 200:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 1100 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 289 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 193 cm. Since entering the market in 1999, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
