As a projector, the 3M MP 8780 combines LCD technology with a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768, and is additionally specified with 2300 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 200:1. According to 3M, the lamp has a durability of 1000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2300 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 418 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 279 cm. This model dates back to 1999 and is no longer part of 3M's current product range.
