The technical data of the 3M MP 8620 includes 450 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 150:1 as well as a SVGA 800 x 600 display. According to 3M, the lamp has a durability of 1000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 450 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 185 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 123 cm. The projector was released in 1997 and is officially no longer distributed by 3M.
