Model Overview

The projector XP-V731U-B by Sharp operates as a 3D-LED-LCD device with 7300 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast of 3000000:1. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime.
To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator.
Looking at practical performance, up to 1202 cm can be illuminated with 7300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 801 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams.
For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs.
