The projector XG PH50X by Sharp utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. According to Sharp, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 4000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 551 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 367 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2005 and is officially no longer distributed by Sharp.

Yes, I‘ve also had heat build-up and the lamps switching off several times, but after cleaning the filter and setting the fan to "high" this problem no longer occurred.

Fully ok
Hello, I have 8 of these devices in use (bought cheaply) They are completely reliable so far. But only if one stands alone. If there are several together, there are often heat build-ups and automatic switch-offs. So far I have not been able to find out where this comes from (they were extensively ventilated).
Also ideal for variable projections with enough distance. Long live LensShift and "keystone correction" adjustable for every corner
