Model Overview

The technical data of the Sharp XP-A155U- includes 14000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000000:1 as well as a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 display. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. This model is available with either a black or white housing.
To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Lens Calculator.
A look at the light output reveals: The 14000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1202 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 801 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams.
Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs.
