The Sharp XG P25XE is a LCD projector offering 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 600:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. According to Sharp, the included lamp lasts up to 1500 hours. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 4000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 551 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 367 cm. This model dates back to 2002 and is no longer part of Sharp's current product range.
