Based on LCD technology, the Sharp XG NV33XE projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 250:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 4000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. Looking at practical performance, up to 275 cm can be illuminated with 1000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 183 cm. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Sharp's current lineup. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
Standard-Portabel | External training and company presentations, as well as product presentations. Small screen width, rooms with very little ambient light below 50 lumens.
What is not advertised with "original manufacturer ....."
However, very few lamps last as long as 4000h!
Inquiries as to why the (alleged original manufacturer...) lamps offered here only last 2000h are met with silence. All liars and fraudsters?
In any case, extremely suspicious and you should go through the market with your eyes wide open.
Fingers off companies that don‘t even answer inquiries about this and/or beat about the bush. The scam is obvious!

!dddd
Have had the Sharp XG NV33XE/U for over a year now, bought second-hand from a bankruptcy estate for home cinema use.
The resolution of 1024x768 is brilliant, even the fan noise mentioned is not very disturbing, but could really be quieter.
It is also not only suitable for presentations as intended, fast movements are also no problem for the projector. As you can read above, the black level is quite good.
The disadvantage is the rigid projection method; with other projectors you can adjust the trapezoid, for example - not here. You have to mount it upside down, which turns it into a vacuum cleaner. The dust on the LCDs mentioned above is a real nuisance that has to be cleaned every six months or so, despite the filter. Cleaning can be carried out by projecting a blue, green and red image, during operation and adjusting the focus accordingly using, for example, thin cotton buds and a lot of patience.
A complete disassembly is very time-consuming and Sharp must be clearly reproached here.
What is irritating is that the original lamp is specified here with 4000h and the replacement lamp (supposedly original!) only 2000h ???????????????
Other than that, a projector as you could recommend on the second-hand market.

I‘m quite satisfied
I received the projector as a gift some time ago. I‘m very happy with it, even though it‘s so bulky and heavy. I subsequently installed a few quieter fans and since then the noise level has been ok. But even before that, the fan noise wasn‘t annoying, as the sound is usually louder than the fan noise in our house
Unfortunately, it collected dust on the LCDs after a while. You have to take it apart completely to get rid of it.
Otherwise, the lamps are very long-lasting and bright enough.
