The XP-P601Q model from Sharp combines DLP technology in the Stationary sector with 6000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000000:1 and a native UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted without quality loss. The exact adjustment leeway can be calculated in the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 6000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 787 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 525 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs.
