The hardware properties of the MC-WX5551 manufactured by Maxell include 5800 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast value of 16000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 4000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 5.5 years. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Regarding projection size, the value of 5800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 663 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 442 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2019 and is no longer part of Maxell's current product range.
