Designed for the Standard-Portabel sector, the MC-WX5506M model from Maxell features 5200 ANSI lumens, a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast ratio of 10000:1. According to Maxell, the included lamp lasts up to 4000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 733 cm can be illuminated with 5200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 489 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of Maxell's current product range.
