The XEED WUX400ST model is a LCOS projector from Canon, intended for Short Distance applications, offering 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Distance Calculator. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 112 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 4000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 429 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Canon. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
