The XEED SX50 model is a LCOS projector from Canon, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 at SXGA+ 1400 x 1050. According to Canon, the lamp has a durability of 1500 hours. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. A look at the light output reveals: The 2500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 435 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 290 cm. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Canon's current product range. For your information: Compatible lamps for this device are no longer available in stores.
