This projector from Canon utilizes LCD technology, achieving 3700 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 15000:1 at a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 10000 hours before a replacement is necessary – mathematically sufficient for 13.7 years based on two hours of use per day. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. A look at the light output reveals: The 3700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 618 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 412 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Canon.
