Based on LCD technology, the Canon LV S3 projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 1250 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 300:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 308 cm can be illuminated with 1250 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 205 cm. Since entering the market in 2003, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains one of the frequently accessed models in our database.
