Known as the XEED WX520, this LCOS projector by Canon features basic specs of 5200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at a WXGA+ 1440 x 900 resolution. According to Canon, the included lamp lasts up to 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Projection Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 733 cm can be illuminated with 5200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 489 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
