As a projector, the Canon XEED WUX6700 combines LCOS technology with a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200, and is additionally specified with 6700 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3000 hours. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 832 cm can be illuminated with 6700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 555 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. This model dates back to 2018 and is no longer part of Canon's current product range. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
