The projector TLP T720 by Toshiba operates as a LCD device with 2400 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 400:1. According to Toshiba, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 427 cm can be illuminated with 2400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 285 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. The projector was released in 2003 and is officially no longer distributed by Toshiba.
