Model Overview The hardware properties of the TDP SP1 manufactured by Toshiba include 2000 ANSI lumens, a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution and a contrast value of 2000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp.
Looking at practical performance, up to 389 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 259 cm.
For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance.
This model dates back to 2008 and is no longer part of Toshiba's current product range. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.

4 Stars Resetting the lamp runtime
Toshiba TDP-SP1 Resetting the lamp runtime works like this:

- Pull out the mains plug
- Press "< Vol-" and "Enter" simultaneously
- Insert the mains plug and hold the buttons
- Release the buttons
- Pull out the mains plug
- Insert the mains plug again

Then the projector must be set up again as when it was first started

I have found several instructions on the Internet. Only this one (which I received directly from a Toshiba technician) actually worked.

5 Stars Vertical interference stripes
Hello,
Since recently, dark vertical interference stripes appear across the entire screen after 3 to 4 minutes of operation. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
Have been very satisfied with the projector so far and would be reluctant to replace it.

2 Stars I have a question!!!
I bought myself a used beamer today. It was super easy to plug in, but when I turned it on I noticed that the picture was the wrong way round!!! I tried everything but I just don‘t know how to get it right side up again. If anyone knows how I can get it right again, please answer me

thank you Nicky

5 Stars Just great
Bought it this morning, plugged it in straight away (which was super easy) and then tested it straight away. A good picture even during the day, great for DVDs in a darkened room in ECO-MODE, looks absolutely brilliant. The fan on my PC is louder than that of the projector, which is whisper quiet. The only drawback I could discover is that the red-green-blue wipers are sometimes quite noticeable. But hand on heart... with a projector for 300 euros that throws such a great picture on the wall, is nice and quiet and couldn‘t be easier to use, that‘s absolutely ok. BUY RECOMMENDATION

5 Stars You will hardly find a better price/performance ratio!
The projector definitely has zoom! You can even see the indentation above the lens in the picture, where the zoom control is located. Furthermore, it even says "Zoom + -". However, the zoom options are rather limited

The projector has a super bright and sharp picture. In my 3m wide living room, I can achieve a picture diagonal of 1.90m at maximum zoom. My RRP €1300 projector, which is a bit older, managed 2.20m. You should set it to its native resolution for working in Windows, otherwise it will be slightly blurred. However, you can also use it at higher resolutions and still recognize everything. The picture format can be set to 4:3, 16:9 or "Zoom". In zoom mode, the picture is cut off on the left and right so that the upper and lower bars are removed

You can see everything when the room lighting is switched on. Even in Eco mode, the picture is still very bright.

According to the data sheet, the projector is 4dB louder than my old one, but I would rather say that it is quieter. The fan is not annoying when watching movies. When you switch the projector off, the fan turns up fully so that the projector cools down quickly. You can also set the fan to "High" in the menu to ensure smooth operation on hot summer days. In this mode, however, the fan is clearly audible.

I was initially afraid that the projector was too bad because I had an expensive projector model with a 1024 resolution, but the difference in resolution is almost imperceptible when watching movies.

I can only recommend the projector! You probably won‘t find a cheaper and better projector in "non-online shops" in the near future

Really great that you can get so much power for so little money!

I bought the TDP SP1 today!
Have connected it without any problems and am currently writing this text on my screen.
Had a Liesegang Piccadilly projector before and the first thing I noticed about the TDP SP1 was, wowowowowowow it‘s bright! I don‘t need a shutter, the picture is just great, flicker-free and I can‘t see any rainbow effect.
I checked the menu immediately, it‘s very easy and clear!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The fan is very muffled, I can hear it but have no sound on and sit directly under/in front of the projector. I accept this because my predecessor had the same fan. So completely normal, my laptop makes similar noises!!!!!!
A minus, because the lens has no zoom, my predecessor could be zoomed lens.
He runs in Eco mode and can reset it for Ebay..lol

I can only recommend this beamer, I will keep it!!!!
Hallloooooooo, it only costs xxxe in Media Markt and is qualitatively the best I‘ve had at home so far, this is my 4th beamer!!!!!!!!!
