As a projector, the Toshiba TDP MT8 combines DLP technology with a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720, and is additionally specified with 1000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 1000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1500 hours for this projector's lamp. A look at the light output reveals: The 1000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 214 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. The projector was released in 2002 and is officially no longer distributed by Toshiba.
