Based on LCOS technology, the Toshiba NPX15A device delivers 3000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 10000:1 as a projector. According to Toshiba, the included lamp lasts up to 5000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 6.8 years when used for 2 hours a day. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 318 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
