The projector TDP SW20 by Toshiba utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 1400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600. According to Toshiba, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 1400 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 326 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 217 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. The projector was released in 2004 and is officially no longer distributed by Toshiba.

Presentation projector unsuitable for home cinema.
The projector is optimized for presentations. It is much too bright for home cinema. Black is too gray. Switching to eco mode doesnt help much. Unlike newer models, it doesnt have an iris diaphragm and therefore cant be made any darker. I, as a resourceful hobbyist, mounted an iris diaphragm in front of the lens input, which reduces the iris from 15mm to 6mm. This made the image perfect. The black level increased enormously. Gray bars in 16:9 movies are no longer visible as gray stripes. But this is certainly not for amateurs.
