Equipped with LCOS technology, the Canon XEED SX7 offers 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 551 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 367 cm. This model dates back to 2007 and is no longer part of Canon's current product range.

...I could recommend the SX7 without reservation. Bright as a bell...great service...everything top...but for over a year now (!) it has been failing irregularly. Error message: four flashes. Sent in to the dealer in the fall. Sent on to Canon. Sent back weeks later: no repair! Error did not appear
Now have to suffer through four technical presentations in which the SX7 goes on strike unannounced. The absolute TOTAL DAMAGE! 100 to 200 course participants, high-priced technical seminar...and then these amateurish failures...no go! The SX7 is at Canon for the second time...now in its second week. E-mail: unfortunately the repair is delayed because the spare parts procurement still needs time.
HOW PLEASE??? a 4,000 Euro projector???...and then this unprofessional service???
Will switch back to SANYO...no problems here for 16 years...
Sorry, but in this price range simply INDISCUTABLE!!!!
