The Toshiba TLP X4100 is a LCD projector offering 4100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 800:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 4100 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 558 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 372 cm. Since entering the market in 2002, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
