Known as the VX 8d, this LED-DLP projector by Runco features basic specs of 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at a HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution. According to Runco, the lamp has a durability of 2500 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 454 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 303 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by Runco.
