The technical data of the Runco VX 2ix includes 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3100:1 as well as a HDTV 1280×720 Pixel display. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 2500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 339 cm. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by Runco.
