The Runco VX 40d is a LED-DLP projector offering 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1800:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 1000 hours. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 4000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 429 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. This model dates back to 2005 and is no longer part of Runco's current product range.
