The MBX 1 model is a LED-DLP projector from Runco, intended for Stationary applications, offering 4300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1100:1 at SXGA 1280 x 1024. According to Runco, the included lamp lasts up to 1500 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 4300 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 555 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 370 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. The projector was released in 2004 and is officially no longer distributed by Runco.
