Based on ILA technology, the Hughes-JVC ILA 530SC projects images in a Stationary environment, with technical specs listing 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1200:1 and a 2500 x 1340 Pixel resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1800 hours. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer.
