The ILA 230 model is a ILA projector from Hughes-JVC, intended for Stationary applications, offering 3400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 390:1 at UXGA 1600 x 1200. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1000 hours for this projector's lamp. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. A look at the light output reveals: The 3400 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 339 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer.
