The projector D360 by Hughes-JVC utilizes ILA technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 5200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 380:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1000 hours for this projector's lamp. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 733 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 489 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Hughes-JVC.
