The hardware properties of the G1000S manufactured by Hughes-JVC include 1000 ANSI lumens, a SXGA+ 1365 x 1024 resolution and a contrast value of 250:1. According to Hughes-JVC, the included lamp lasts up to 1000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 275 cm can be illuminated with 1000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 183 cm. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Hughes-JVC.
