The D340SC model is a ILA projector from Hughes-JVC, intended for Stationary applications, offering 3700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1200:1 at HDTV 1920 x 1080. According to Hughes-JVC, the included lamp lasts up to 2500 hours. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 618 cm can be illuminated with 3700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 412 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer.
