The projector ILA 330SC by Hughes-JVC utilizes ILA technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1200:1 at a resolution of 2500 x 1340 Pixel. According to Hughes-JVC, the included lamp lasts up to 1800 hours. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 318 cm. The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer.
