The projector D330SC by Hughes-JVC operates as a ILA device with 2500 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 1200:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1800 hours for this projector's lamp. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 508 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 339 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer.
