According to Hughes-JVC, the G1500M model provides 1500 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 350:1 alongside a SXGA+ 1365 x 1024 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1000 hours before a replacement is necessary. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 337 cm can be illuminated with 1500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 225 cm. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Hughes-JVC.
