The PRO AV 9550 model is a Laser-LCD projector from Proxima, intended for Stationary applications, offering 5800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 600:1 at SXGA 1280 x 1024. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1000 hours for this projector's lamp. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 5800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 645 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 430 cm. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Proxima's current lineup.
