The DP2810 model from Proxima combines LCD technology in the Stationary sector with 300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100:1 and a native VGA 640 x 480 resolution. According to Proxima, the lamp has a durability of 30 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 151 cm can be illuminated with 300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 101 cm. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Proxima's current lineup. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
Stationary | Permanent installation in the training room and meeting room as well as the conference room. Very narrow picture width and rooms with very little light.
for little money you can get such a Proxima projector at E-Bay. The low prices of the FXL lamps also seem to make sense here. If you can darken a room a little (floor or cellar, Jalosines will do) you have a pretty decent TV picture in a dimension that puts any flat screen in the shade. The fan can be heard, but with a DVD system it is almost suppressed by the Dolby(R) sound. The low resolution is bad for computer presentations, but it works!
