Based on LCD technology, the Proxima M1030U device delivers 5000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 and a contrast of 2000:1 as a projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Looking at practical performance, up to 718 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 479 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. This model dates back to 2016 and is no longer part of Proxima's current product range.
