This projector is named DP8500x, originates from Proxima, and its data sheet shows 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 750:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projector Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 584 cm can be illuminated with 4500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 389 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2003 and is officially no longer distributed by Proxima.
