The projector LP8500U by Proxima operates as a Laser-DLP device with 7000 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast of 100000:1. Looking at practical performance, up to 850 cm can be illuminated with 7000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 567 cm. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Proxima's current lineup.
