The UXT-5500 is a 3D-Laser-DLP projector by Wolf Cinema, whose specifications list 17000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 30000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 20.5 years possible. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 17000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1325 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 883 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable.
