Based on DLP technology, the SIM2 Grand Cinema C3X LUMIS HC projects images in a High-End Homecinema environment, with technical specs listing 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 35000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2500 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 556 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 371 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. This model dates back to 2010 and is no longer part of SIM2's current product range. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
