Designed for the High-End Homecinema sector, the HT300 XTRA model from SIM2 features 800 ANSI lumens, a native HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution and a contrast ratio of 2800:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 8000 hours for this projector's lamp, which amounts to roughly 11 years at 2 hours of daily use. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 287 cm can be illuminated with 800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 191 cm. This model dates back to 2003 and is no longer part of SIM2's current product range.
