The SIM2 Grand Cinema Lumis Plus T2 is a 3D-DLP projector that brings 4300 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution alongside a contrast of 30000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 5000 hours before a replacement is necessary – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 666 cm can be illuminated with 4300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 444 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. This model dates back to 2016 and is no longer part of SIM2's current product range.
