The NERO 3 ST model from Sim2 combines DLP technology in the Homecinema sector with 1400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 30000:1 and a native HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for optical image shifting. To plan the individual installation location, a look at the Lens Shift Calculator is recommended. A look at the light output reveals: The 1400 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 380 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 253 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Sim2.
