With the SP M255, Samsung offers a LCD projector that features 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. A look at the light output reveals: The 2500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 435 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 290 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
